Hey, please help me. Last week, my LG MS631 got shutdown due to no charging. When I rebooted it, all the contacts stored in SIM card were gone. I searched on Google and found a quite simple way to recover deleted contacts from Android SIM card without a backup but it did not work. That’s why I am here.
What’s is SIM Card?
SIM card’s full name is Subscriber Identity Module card. A SIM card is a microchip in a cell phone that connects it to a particular phone network. Such SIM cards can store data like user identity, location and phone number, network authorization data, personal security keys, contacts and stored text messages.
Well, it is very common for Android phone users to save their contacts in Android SIM card. However, if you deleted them by accident, it will be such a big problem for you to get those missing phone numbers back because you have to add them one by one. Actually, in addition to deleting accidentally, you may lose your contacts by formatting, rooting, updating, system crash, virus infection and other reasons. You still have a chance to get deleted contacts back from your Android SIM card.
Either Android SIM Card Recovery or Android SIM Card Recovery for Mac is specially designed to recover deleted contacts from SIM card on Android phone. Moreover, the Android data recovery not only supports to restore contacts, but also can help Android users retrieve SMS messages, photos, videos, call logs, whatsapp chat history and more from SIM card on Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, Sony, Google, Huawei, etc.
Step 1.Run the Android SIM Card Recovery and Connect Android to PC
To start with, install and launch the program on your computer.
And if you didn’t enable the USB debugging on your Android before, you will get a pop-up message on your Android and need to enable it now. If you’ve done it already, just skip this step.
Step 2.Select Contacts to Scan
If the Android phone is recognized by the computer, you will get a prompt asking you to choose your wanted files to scan. Choose “Contacts” among the list and then the “Next” button.
Step 3.Scan Your Android Phone for Lost Data
Now, click “Start” to begin analyzing and scanning your Android phone. Here, we recommend you to try the “Standard Mode”at first. If it doesn’t work, you can turn to the “Advanced Mode” later.
Note: There might be a Superuser authorization appearing on your Android device during the scanning. If you get it, click “Allow” to confirm it. If not, just forget it.
Step 4.Preview and Retrieve Deleted Contacts from Android SIM Card
After scanning data on your Android phone, the program will list all the items on the left pane. You can have an overview of the contacts in your Android SIM card including names, phone numbers, emails, and so forth. After that, you can select the “Contacts” you need and click “Recover” to get lost contacts back.
