Step 1.Download the Program on Computer
To start with, download and install Phone Transfer on computer, then open it and select “Phone to Phone Transfer”.
Step 2.Connect Android Phones to Computer
Next, connect your Android devices to the computer, and wait until the program detects your Android phones. Once detected, both Androids will display in the interface as follow. Make sure that the devices are in the right position. Put your old Android phone in the Source section and the new one in the Destination section. You can change their places by clicking the “Flip” button.
Step 3.Select App Data to Transfer
Tick “App” and “App Data”, and a message saying “Transferring app data requires…” will show up asking you to confirm the action to root your Android phone. Click “To transfer app data…” > “Confirm” > “Start Transfer” to continue.
Note: Do not choose the “Clear data before copy” option during the process.

Step 4.Transfer App Data from Android to Android

Step 1.Go to WhatsApp Settings on Old Android
Tap on the menu button on your Android WhatsApp. Then select “Settings”. Next, choose “Chats and calls” and then “Chat backup”.
Step 2.Backup WhatsApp Messages with Gmail
In the “Chat backup” page, you can backup your messages, photos, videos to Google Drive by tapping on “BACK UP”. Select “Backup to Google Drive”, you can select frequency of backup. Then you can select to back up over Wi-Fi only, or Wi-Fi and cellular. Note:You are required to add Gmail account before backing up.
Step 3.Restore WhatsApp Chat to Android from Gmail
Install WhatsApp app on your new Android phone. Sign in WhatsApp with the old phone number. Your WhatsApp messages will be restored from Google Drive. After that, select “Next” to display your chats.
