You can backup messages on your WhatsApp application, then you can restore the backup on your original Samsung phone or another new phone, such iPhone 7/7 Plus.
Step 1. Backup your WhatsApp messages on Samsung phone: Go to Settings > Chat settings > Chat backup > Tap Backup option.
Step 2. Uninstall WhatsApp application from your old Samsung phone.
Step 3. Launch WhatsApp app on your iPhone 7 and log in with your original WhatsApp account.
Step 4. There will be a pop-up window informing you that “Message Backup Found”, click “Restore”. Your WhatsApp messages on Samsung phone will be transferred to the new iPhone 7/7 Plus.
This method is similar to the method 1, below is how it works:
Step 1. Open WhatsApp on your Samsung phone, then go to Settings > Chat settings > Email chat.
Step 2. Select the WhatsApp chat history you want to transfer, a pop-up window will appear, choose WITHOUT MEDIA or ATTACH MEDIA as per your needs.
Step 3. Type your email account > Tap Send.
Step 4. Log in with your email id at your new iPhone 7/7 Plus device, and then you can view the WhatsApp messages that sent from your Samsung phone.
Note: You are unable to have the messages on the WhatsApp application of the iPhone 7.
