Step 1. Download SMS Backup & Restore App
Firstly, please download and install SMS Backup and Restore app on both of two phones from Google Play.
Step 2. Backup SMS from Old Android Phone
Run the app on your old Android and choose backup option on the interface. In this way, you can copy text messages and call logs to the cloud storage such as Dropbox. Then sign in Dropbox and choose a folder to store your backup.
Step 3. Restore SMS to New Samsung Galaxy S8
In the last step, please go to your new Samsung and run the SMS Backup and Restore app. Then select the restore option and restore the backed up SMS to your Galaxy S8 on Dropbox location.
